Pasadena Civic Auditorium

300 E. Green Street
Pasadena
Opened in 1931
City owned facility with 2,968 seats.

The beautiful facility was designed by George Edwin Bergstrom, Cyril Bennett and Fitch Haskell.

The Pasadena Civic Auditorium is used primarily for performing arts such as - symphony, ballet and opera. Touring Broadway musicals have also been staged here.  It was home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic and is currently home to the Pasadena Symphony.

Rock groups are welcomed but there is a careful screening process that scans promoters and groups. It was never known for being a major rock concert venue.

I was at the Dylan/the Band show in 1965 and the Righteous Brothers in 1970.
Anyone else?
How about:
Woodstock
Altamont
Jackie Wilson, Louisville, 1966?
Ike and Tina Turner, Amador Lake?
