Incredible site! I grew up in Fullerton and saw the following show at the Anaheim Convention Center:

KISS, Breathless - November 6, 1979.

My first gig.

Also attended the NAMM show here every January from 1987 to 1995.

I got curious about show dates of bands I'd seen growing up near the Anaheim Convention center, one of the most notable concerts was missing from your list: Jimi Hendrix: 02-09-68: Convention Centre, Anaheim, California ( 2 shows) Not sure whether I saw the first or second show, but he was pissed off that night and stormed off after about 3 songs.

I visited disneyland in 77 and vaguely remember looking out the hotel window across strawberry fields and hearing the Bay City Rollers playing the Convention Center. I was a big Kiss fan at the time but my girlfriend back home (I was 9!) LOVED them. She later moved to LA and had kids with Bret Micheals from POISON. I guess Kristi never lost her infatuation with rock stars!

I grew up in Fullerton also. I got to see Doors, Merry go Round and Jefferson Airplane as my first concert. Next was Vanilla Fudge, Spanky and Our Gang and the Bee Gees. Then Three Dog Night, Black Pearl and Steppenwolf. Herman's Hermits, The Who and Strawberry Alarm Clock in the 60's. I saw quite a few in the 70's. The first was Jo Jo Gunne and Jethro Tull.
Bullangus, Malo, Deep Purple 1972
Carpenters 1973 (Tricked in to that one)
Crosby and Nash 1976
ELO, Little Feat 1976
ELP 1974
Elton John, Family 1972
Faces with Rod Stewert, Rory Gallagher 1973
Jethro Tull 1977
Leon Russell, Nitzinger 1972?

And 3 Namm Shows. Good times.

Going through my grandparents stuff, we found ticket stubs for the Anaheim Convention Center for November 15, 1973. We're trying to find out what show my grandparents went to.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

OMG, how could you leave out the Jimi Hendrix concert (who opened for Eric Burden and the Animals) in 1968?? My first show there was The Byrds and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1967. But, Hendrix.....the best!
I remember him having equipment problems, but don't remember him storming off the stage.
