The Go-Go's almost defy you to take them seriously, but you really should. They were splendid, no getting around it. All that getting better dribble has been hard on them, but they have come a long way in penetrating that sexist rap, stripping down their campiness and laying out their throbbing and pulsating undulation of sound in a cocky, ballsy, yet still titillating performance.
