Before Charlotte Caffey joined the GoGo's, she was in a local band called the Eyes. She played bass guitar. The Eyes played regularly at the Masque in Hollywood. Drummer DJ Bonebrake would go on to play in the band X.

The Eyes were one of the first bands to ever play at the Masque. Othere regular bands that played the Masque included: the Germs, the Bags, The Dickies, the Nerves, the Zero's and Avengers.

For awhile Charlotte dated Leonard Pillips of the Dickies. Belinda dated fellow Dickie - Karlos Kabollero off and on.

My favorite band from the one-side clear vinyl 12" record "Yes, LA"?? compilation was the Eyes. I never owned a copy of the record. I heard the record because a friend had a copy. I'm glad in the advent of Internet I can find out more about the Eyes.
