ON THE GO - I flew from the Burbank CA airport to the Pittsburgh airport. From here I picked up my rental car and drove to - Greensburg? Good thing I brought a map.

Never been to Pennsylvania before. A cold front is moving in. Mental note: In four days will be Groundhogs Day and I'm about 60 miles from Punxsutawney.---
I can tell you right now - I don't see any shadows around here. It's freezing!

It took me awhile to find Greensburg. Maybe I should have sprung for the navigation system. Which way is southeast? What's with these toll roads?

The Palace Theater in Greensburg is a very cool, old classic theater. The average age of the staff must have been about 70 years old. Now I felt young. Coming from L.A.- I especially appreciated the $2 parking, $3 beers and 50 cent candy bars. Such a deal.

FOR STARTERS - Not sure who the warm-up band was. 3-piece rockers with an '80's sound. Their set short and sweet. yeah...

CROWD CONTROL - The crowd was great - very energetic. There was plenty of guys wearing baseball hats, GoGo t-shirts and '80's style mullets.

HOW IT GOES - The girls made their stage entrance to birds chirping and the Sound of Music sounding though the speakers. First out was Jane fluttering about like Maria. Then came Charlotte, Kathy and Gina all twirling about. They suddenly kicked off with Surfing and Spying - as Belinda entered took her place center stage. All very dramatic.

WORTH NOTING - The girls sounded great! They were funny and interacted with the audience a good deal. Lots of banter amoungst each other. Pure fun fun fun!

During Cool Jerk Belinda kept asking Gina to make her "silly drummer face". Gina gave her a confused face.
Kathy picked up a tamborine and hit it with a blank look on her face.
Charlotte maintained her happy face.
They handed out the latest new lyrics to Whole World.

HIGH NOTES - Security was cool. On entry there was no bag check or body frisk. They didn't seem to care about cameras either so I took loads of pictures.

I had great seat on an aisle 10 rows back. I chatted with the couple seated next to me. They were from nearby Shanksville and were so excited the GoGos were in Greensburg. I couldn't believe I was in Greensburg.
